About Us
The Heights Urban Empowerment (THUE) is a Latino-led organization working towards breaking barriers in the outdoors and offering opportunities to underserved communities in New York City.
Our focus is to offer urban and outdoor youth programs that engages youth ages 11 - 17 years old who reside in Northern Manhattan and the South Bronx. The program provides accessible and affordable urban and outdoor recreational activities that focus on personal and physical development. Connecting underrepresented youth to the nature and build hard and soft skills in a safe and inclusive environment.
